Table of Tiers for the Tower of Fantasy, August 2022

Tower of Fantasy introduces a fresh cast of characters who, unlike Genshin, are bound to their weapons. With these weapons, users can assume the appearance of the weapon's included Simulacra or the encased artificial intelligence recreations of famous heroes from Tower of Fantasy's mythology. Therefore, the terms weapon and character will be used synonymously throughout this piece.

This post will provide a comprehensive guide to the August 2022 Tower of Fantasy tier list.

The weapons and characters in ToF may be divided into three categories: SSR weapons, SR weapons, and R weapons. The first two are the only ones that provide you characters or substitutes; they're like Genshin's 5 and 4 star characters.

Table of Tiers for the Tower of Fantasy, August 2022

TierCharacter
SSamir, King, Cocoritter
ACrow, Tsubasa, Huma, Ene, Nemesis, Meryl
BShiro, Zero, Claudia, Echo, Pepper
CCobalt-B, Bai Ling, Hilda

S Tier

All rerolling players should strive to obtain a S tier character because they are currently the finest in the game.

  • It's safe to say that Samir is the most versatile and effective DPS available. When compared to the melee characters, she is considerably simpler to control because she uses distance attacks.
  • Because of his ability to inflict additional debuffs, King is the finest shieldbreaker in the game. His burns prevent him from being healed, which might come in handy later.
  • For challenging stuff, you must have Cocoritter as she is the strongest healer in the game and hence the finest support character.

A Tier

Characters of the A Tier are powerful or intriguing, but they don't perform as well as the S Tier characters do. Still, even at the outset of the game, these weapons are more than enough.

  • One of the greatest characters for novice players to start out with is Nemesis, who is shown on the cover of ToF. She has the ability to heal while still dealing damage. Her versatility, however, also makes her a bit less powerful than a S rank character.
  • Whether you're using her axe or shield, Huma is a lot of fun to play as.
  • Meryl is a fantastic tank since she can increase armor while fighting and is the game's second-best shieldbreaker (after King). However, her animation is a little on the sluggish side.
  • In return for her lackluster raw damage output, Tsubasa is a competent support character with respectable utility and damage boost.
  • Crow is a fantastic DPS character who shines while using aerial strikes. His advantageous location, although powerful, also makes him difficult to control.
  • At long last, we got Ene, presently the game's top SR character. She is a dependable tank that can freeze and cc her foes. Her SR status, which allows players to get more copies to level up her powers, contributed to her placement in the A tier.

B Tier

Characters that fall in the middle of the SR range and those who require significant effort to become good SSRs make up this tier.

  • Good shieldbreaker, damage dealer, and supporter, respectively, Shiro, Claudia, and Zero all have their uses. However, they require advancement before they can achieve their peak strength, which might take some time.
  • Pepper is an excellent low-cost healer who will do till you can grab an SSR character with healing abilities.
  • Since Echo is the first playable character you get at no cost, you will almost certainly end up with many duplicates of her early on. A good shieldbreaker, she may increase your attack power while she does so.

C Tier

C-tier characters are presently the lowest quality available. None of the four- and five-star options are completely worthless, though; their usefulness depends on context. The SR tier characters are more accessible and will do the job well until you manage to grab someone of SSR tier.

  • Cobalt-placement B's in this tier is not a reflection of her weakness; rather, it reflects the high cost that must be incurred in order to unleash her full power. Even if she were the only SSR character, there would be lots of others who could do her job better.
  • Out of the current SR cast, Bai Ling and Hilda are the weakest links.

How the Tower of Fantasy's Gacha works

The base probability for an SSR Weapon from the regular banner is 0.75 percent, with the maximum possibility reaching 2 percent. Initiating with a 1% probability, SR Weapons increase to a 12% maximum.

Even less likely are SSR weapons (0.3%) and SR weapons (3%) to appear in limited banners.

But there's a compassion mechanic in the game. After ten rolls with the regular banner, you're assured an SR or SSR weapon, and after eighty rolls, you'll get an SSR weapon every time. Only banners with the Gold Nucleus or Red Nucleus color scheme are eligible for this method of compassion. Unlike Genshin Impact, it does not follow you between banners.
